It has been revealed that some guy named Rafael Cruz, apparently the father of now Sen. Ted Cruz gave a speech to a Tea Party group in 2012. At one point papa Cruz stated that " Obama should go back to Chicago, I wish he would go back to KENYA ." He also after first stating that Senator Obama was obviously a Socialist, then later stated that President Obama is a " Marxist ." Whew.

ITEM 2
Birther Queen Orly Taitz, esq. & dentist & litigious expert has once more gone to the court with a 32 page brief apparently trying to further antagonize four different Judges and to ask that Occidental College be forced to show entrance documents that she, Birther Queen Orly Taitz, esq., is positive will show that one Barack Hussein Obama enrolled as a foreign student from Kenya.
Whew.

ITEM 3
Rep. Darrel Issa today issued more subpoenas hoping to find out how far up the food chain does the ACA website fiasco responsibility go. As usual he wants to know " what did the President know and when did he know it." He said the same thing about the Benghazi incident, " what did the President know and when did he know it." He continues to try everything possible to throw roadblocks up to the process of governance. Tea bags were being dipped all across our great land.
Whew.

ITEM 4
The media, especially the tea drinkers, were agog today about the latest poll that shows President Obama with an all-time low approval rating of 42%.
Most of them forgot to mention that the Republican approval rating fell to 22%.
Enough said, I think.

DEAD VOTERS

Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted announced that the names of 245,000 DEAD PEOPLE had been removed from Ohio's voter rolls. He did not state however, but I will, there is not a single case of a dead person voting in Ohio. Just for the record Ohio had 115 cases of possible voter fraud in 2012. If all were found guilty, that is a voter fraud rate of 0.0024 percent out of 5.63 MILLION votes cast.

You can stomp your feet all you want, it does not change the facts,

OUR EXCEPTIONAL COUNTRY, MAYBE

I love my country, I have served my country, I served twenty years in the U.S. army Reserve. I worked for a living for over 50 years. I have traveled eight times to Germany, seven times to Canada, twice to Japan and once to Honduras. I have seen the exquisite beauty of Hokkaido and the Winter Ice Festival. I have seen the abject poverty of the mountains of Honduras. Many times I have stayed in the small villages in beautiful Bavaria. I have walked the walls and streets of Rothenburg and Dinkelsbuhl and Nuremburg in Germany. I have shopped the alleys in downtown Tokyo. I have strolled down six foot deep tunneled snow sidewalks in Sapporo, Japan.
I always welcomed coming home to the USA, except for the drive from one airport to the next in New York City, where the expressway was a guantlet of old sofas, burned out cars, old tires and blowing litter. I hope that has changed.
Now I sit through endless Congressional hearings on C-Span and have to listen to the endless drivel about how our country is the greatest this and the greatest that. Usually the reference is to our Healthcare System or our Education System. Neither of these declarations are true. Our Healthcare is the most expensive in the world. I will concede that. Our Education system is the most expensive in the world. I will concede that also. However, when facts are facts, the outcomes of our Healthcare System and our Education System are NOT exceptional.

THE TEXAS HUCKSTER RANTS AGAIN

I'll have to look up to see if Sen. Ted Cruz is a product of the fabulous Texas school system.
I am wondering about the basic math courses. Speaking on the Senate floor before the big vote tonight he again stated that the two million people that signed his petition were a collective evidence of  " the majority of the people in this country are opposed to Obamacare. " I don't remember all of my grade school math, but I do know that 2 million is not a majority of 313.9 million. Sen. Cruz likes to throw numbers like small grenades, hoping that we don't notice. His favorite lately is that 15,000 UPS employees lost their spousal coverage. He fails to note that UPS informed the employees that if the spouse qualifies for insurance through their own employer that they should avail themselves of said insurance. They were not kicked out of insurance as Sen. Cruz is fond of saying.
The entire process is part of leveling and improving the actuarial outlook under the ACA.

Sen. Cruz is very fond of making things up.
